Causes of Coronary Heart Disease

       Coronary heart disease is caused by a buildup of fat in the blood vessel walls in the heart (coronary arteries), and this is gradually followed by various processes such as accumulation of connective tissue, calcification, blood clots that everything will narrow or clog the blood vessels. There are two causes of Coronary Heart Disease processes, namely: atherosclerosis and thrombosis process.

a. The process of atherosclerosis
      The formation of plaque in the arteries of the heart's blood vessels. Plaque consists of excessive cholesterol, calcium and other substances in the blood vessels which gradually accumulate in the walls of blood vessels of the heart (coronary arteries).
 

b. The process of thrombosis
       Fat deposits in blood vessels not only contains fat, but also the scar tissue caused by the presence of cholesterol. This will form a fibrous cap (fibrous cap) over heaps tougher than the blood vessel wall itself. When there is pressure could result in damage to the blood vessels.
The result is a larger blood clots that can block blood vessels so that blood can not reach the heart muscle and lead to death in some heart muscle
