What Coronary Heart Disease is

Coronary heart disease (CHD) or ischemic heart disease is heart disease arising from coronary artery narrowing on. The narrowing of atherosclerosis can be attributed, among others, various types of arteritis, coronary embolism, and spasm. Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is the imbalance between the needs of the heart and supply blood perfusion by coronary artery oxygenited

Coronary heart disease is a disease of the blood vessels of the coronary arteries in the heart, namely the occurrence of narrowing and blockage of the blood vessels. It happened because of an atheroma or atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), making blood supply to the heart muscle decreases.

Coronary heart disease is coronary artery abnormality in up to not enough blood supply which means also lack of oxygen and nutrition supply is to move in a normal heart.

Coronary heart disease is an abnormality caused by inhibition of vascular narrowing or arteries carrying blood to the heart muscle.

Coronary heart disease is an abnormality caused by a narrowing or blockage of the arteries carrying blood to the heart muscle.

Coronary heart disease is the imbalance between demand and supply or needs and provision of oxygen the heart muscle in which there was an increased requirement or provision of the decline, or even a combination between the two, the cause is a variety of factors.

Increased heart rate, strength of contraction rises, increased ventricular tension, a number of factors that can enhance the needs of the heart muscles. While the factors that interfere with the provision of oxygen among other things, increased coronary blood pressure, one of which is caused by a narrow channel artherosclerosis to increase the pressure, then the regulation of heart muscle disorders and others.

And clinical manifestations of coronary heart disease there is a wide range, namely acute ischemic mycocard, dysritmia heart failure or heart rhythm disorders and sudden death

In Indonesia, the disease is the number one killer and the total incidence continues to increase from year to year. Statistical data show that in 1992 the percentage of patients with CHD in Indonesia is 16.5%, and in 2000 jumped to 26.4%. Despite becoming a major killer, but still a bit once people know about this CBC. Especially about the risk factors that cause the occurrence of the disease. In epidemiological knowledge, if a disease risk factors known it will be easier to do the action. Since, however, prevention is better than cure. Many factors influence the occurrence of CHD up prevention efforts must also be multifactors. Prevention should be pursued as far as possible by means of operating CHD risk factors and a pretty important thing in handling the CBC. Therefore identify the risk factors are very important in CHD prevention efforts.
